Welcome one, welcome all...

Hi everyone, I'm Andy. I was born with the genetic lung disease Cystic Fibrosis which is slowly crippling my lungs and killing me.

CF has a life expectancy of 40.1 years old. I'm currently 37.

I wanted to provide an adult space on the internet to share thoughts and opinions on all matters of CF care and life in general in the hope that it will help other people born with Cystic Fibrosis to live their lives as fully as is possible.

I'm currently studying an MA in Cultural Studies focusing on disability and the politics/lived experiences of disabled people.

I have many interests of which a few are Jack Daniel's, my beard, comic books, popular culture and tattoos.

Disclaimer: there will be ramblings, rantings, insights, strong opinions, lots of swearing, and lots of humour. I can promise you that. I welcome all opinions and healthy debate.
